Stuck on something, or found a bug? We're a small team, so a direct message is the fastest way to reach us.
The basics
The board
You play on an 8×8 grid. Every level starts empty — your job is to fill it in strategically and keep clearing space before it fills up.
Placing pieces
You're given a set of pieces below the board. Drag any piece onto the grid and drop it wherever it fits — there's no falling or fixed drop column, so take your time and plan the placement.
Clearing lines
Fill an entire row or column completely and it clears instantly, opening up space and adding to your score. Rows and columns can clear at the same time for bigger combos.
Game over
The game ends when none of your current pieces can fit anywhere on the board. Keep an eye on the shapes you're holding and clear space proactively rather than waiting until you're boxed in.
Scoring & levels
Points per block
Every block you place adds a small number of points to your score, shown at the top of the screen.
Line-clear bonus
Clearing a row or column awards a larger bonus than placing blocks alone — and clearing several lines in the same move multiplies the reward.
Levels
As your total score grows, you level up (shown top-left). Levels are a progress milestone rather than a difficulty setting — the board size and rules stay the same.
Best score
Your all-time high score is tracked at the top of the screen (top-right) so you always know the run to beat.
Tips & strategy
- →Keep the edges and corners clear — pieces with awkward shapes are much easier to place when you have open space along the board's border.
- →Don't rush to clear a single line if it means leaving a messy board — sometimes it's better to set up two or three lines to clear at once for the combo bonus.
- →Look at all three pieces you're holding before placing any of them — the order you place them in can make or break your next few moves.
- →If you're close to a game over, prioritize creating any clearable line over placing pieces "optimally" — a clear buys you breathing room.
FAQ
How do I place a piece?
Tap and drag a piece from the tray below the board onto the grid. It'll snap into place if the spot is valid, or bounce back if it doesn't fit.
Why can't I place any of my pieces?
Each piece must fit entirely within empty cells — no overlapping filled squares. If none of your three pieces fit anywhere on the board, the game ends and your score is saved.
Is my progress saved if I switch devices?
Right now progress and best scores are saved locally to your device. Cross-device sync is on our roadmap — reach out if this is blocking you and we'll factor it into prioritization.
Does closing the app lose my current game?
Your in-progress board is saved automatically, so closing and reopening the app should drop you right back where you left off. Your best score is always kept regardless.
The game crashed or froze — what should I do?
Try force-closing and reopening the app first. If the issue persists, contact us with your device model and OS version so we can dig in.
I found a bug in the scoring or board logic — how do I report it?
Use the contact form and pick "Bug report" from the Support type dropdown. Include what you were doing when it happened if you can — screenshots help a lot too.
Can I request a new feature, like undo or a timed mode?
Absolutely — pick "Feature request" from the Support type dropdown and tell us what you have in mind. We read every message and use this feedback to shape what we build next.
