The basics

The board

You play on an 8×8 grid. Each row and column has a target number shown along its edge — that's the sum every tile in that line needs to add up to.

Placing tiles

You're given a small set of numbered tiles below the board — some positive, some negative, and the occasional wildcard marker. Drag any tile onto an empty cell.

Hitting the target

When the tiles placed in a row or column add up exactly to that line's target number, the line clears and you score. Overshoot or undershoot and it stays put.

Game over

The game ends when none of your current tiles can be placed without breaking a line's target. Watch your remaining tiles and the running totals on each row and column so you don't get stuck.

Scoring & progress

Score

Your running score is shown at the top of the screen and climbs every time you clear a line.

Best

Your all-time high score is tracked next to the crown icon so you always know the run to beat.

Level

Level (shown in the bottom dial) rises as your score grows — it's a progress milestone, not a difficulty setting.

Moves & Lines

The bottom bar tracks how many tiles you've placed (Moves) and how many rows or columns you've cleared (Lines) this run.

Tips & strategy

→Look at the target numbers around the edges before you place anything — plan which tiles go where rather than placing the first thing that fits.
→Negative tiles are your friend for pulling an over-target line back down — don't save them for later if a line needs one right now.
→The wildcard-marked tiles (shown as a circle) are flexible — save them for lines where your remaining tiles don't quite add up.
→Clearing a line frees up space and simplifies the board — prioritize a near-complete line over starting a fresh one.

FAQ

How do I place a tile?

Tap and drag a tile from the tray below the board onto any empty cell on the grid.

What do the numbers along the edges of the board mean?

Each one is the target sum for that row or column. Fill the line with tiles that add up exactly to that number to clear it.

What does the circle tile do?

It's a flexible marker tile that helps balance out a line's sum — useful when your other tiles don't add up perfectly on their own.

Is my progress saved if I switch devices?

Right now progress and best scores are saved locally to your device. Cross-device sync is on our roadmap — reach out if this is blocking you and we'll factor it into prioritization.

Does closing the app lose my current game?

Your in-progress board is saved automatically, so closing and reopening the app should drop you right back where you left off. Your best score is always kept regardless.

The game crashed or froze — what should I do?

Try force-closing and reopening the app first. If the issue persists, contact us with your device model and OS version so we can dig in.

I found a bug in the scoring or board logic — how do I report it?

Use the contact form and pick "Bug report" from the Support type dropdown. Include what you were doing when it happened if you can — screenshots help a lot too.

Can I request a new feature?

Absolutely — pick "Feature request" from the Support type dropdown and tell us what you have in mind. We read every message.
