Privacy Policy

The short version

Starbase Tycoon does not collect, sell or share your data. It has no ads, no tracking, no accounts and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Everything the game remembers is kept on your device and in your own Apple services (iCloud and Game Center).

What stays on your device

Your career, stations, settings and the captain name you type in are saved on your device so the game can remember where you are. A backup copy is also kept in your device's Keychain so your progress survives deleting and reinstalling the game. None of this is sent to us.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, the game keeps a copy of your progress in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so it comes back on a new phone. This data belongs to your Apple Account and is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see it.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your achievements and leaderboard scores are sent to Apple's Game Center. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your Game Center details beyond what Apple shows on the leaderboards. You can play without Game Center.

Photos

Photo Mode asks permission only to add a picture of your station to your photo library when you tap save. The game cannot read your library.

Purchases

The one-time Full Game Unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy.

Children

Starbase Tycoon does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Players cannot message or share content with each other inside the game.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
