How do I play?

Tap a crew member, then tap a room to put them to work. Collect the glowing badges above rooms, open Build to add rooms, and keep power, air and food up. The full illustrated guide is under How to Play on the main menu, in the ☰ menu and in Settings. You can restart the step-by-step tips any time with Replay Tutorial.

Is there an account or login?

No. Just open the game and play.

Will I lose my progress if I reinstall or change phone?

No. Your career is backed up to your device's Keychain and to your own iCloud every 30 seconds. Settings, Progress & backup shows when it last saved and has a Back up now button.

What is free and what is in the Full Game?

Sectors 1 to 3 (nine assignments) are free for ever. The one-time Full Game Unlock adds sectors 4 to 10, Sandbox mode and the Veteran remixes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no energy timers.

How do I restore my purchase on another device?

Open Settings, Full game, and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.

Achievements or leaderboards are not showing

They use Game Center. Sign in from the iPhone Settings app under Game Center, then open Starbase Tycoon again.

The text is too small

Settings, Gameplay, Text size has Standard, Large and XL.

Languages

English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Russian and Italian. The game follows your iPhone language, or change it under Settings, Language.

Too much vibration?

Settings, Gameplay, Haptics lets you choose Off, Touches or Everything.
